Held every October, the Portugal Investment Forum travels the country over ten days, bringing together investors, entrepreneurs, family offices and high-net-worth individuals with leading figures in cross-border tax, residency, luxury property, business, start-ups, government agencies and inward investment.
Guests hear from expert panellists and guest speakers, put their questions directly to them, meet like-minded investors and professionals, and join the expert clinics that follow each session. The result is a national forum built on informed discussion, real analysis, clear outputs and practical actions.
Every session is filmed and covered by national and international media, extending the conversation well beyond the room.
In 2026, more than 350 delegates and 60 panellists took part across five locations: Lagos, Quinta do Lago, Lisbon, Estoril, and Porto.

Every morning, without fail, the sun rises over the Tagus, the Douro and the cliffs of the Algarve — exactly as it did for the navigators who once looked out from this coast at the impossible. They had no certainty. They had a mindset.
Portugal is in a spring: capital arriving, talent arriving, families choosing to build their lives here. But seasons don't ask permission. What takes root will always be tested — by complacency, by protectionism, by division.
The question is not whether the opportunity exists. It is whether we are brave enough to plant, to protect, to share the harvest, and to do it as one.
Portugal's future will not be built by a single investor, adviser or institution. It will be built by all of them, together.
Five hundred years ago, Portugal discovered the world. Today, the world is discovering Portugal.

He shared his story about his accomplishment, which took years of planning and a team effort to achieve. Like investment and business, it has significant risks, but coming together with the right mindset means you can ride the big wave consistently.
Portugal needs to be stronger by the sum of its parts and work collegially with a positive mindset. This comes from the public, businesses and government working together to achieve extraordinary things.
Portugal has spent nearly two decades reinventing itself, and the numbers presented at the Portugal Investment Forum 2026 show how far it has come.
The Portugal Investment Forum traced the story through growth outpacing the eurozone, a stronger sovereign credit rating, and record levels of foreign investment.
Public debt has come down from over 100%, which would be the envy of G7 nations.
